GMG colorSupport Technical Support Contract
Description and Benefits:
GMG colorSupport is provided by our GMG Americas Technical Services team. As a GMG colorSupport contract customer, you gain access to the entire GMG Americas team which has over 150 years of combined support, training and real world experience in color management, graphic arts, and print production. You’ll interact with our team utilizing the GMG colorSupport Hotline and GMG colorSupport Online. Each support request is logged and can be monitored through our interactive colorSupport ticket system. The GMG Technical Service team’s purpose is to ensure your color is accurate, workflow is efficient, and productivity needs are met.
GMG colorSupport contracts are available for the following GMG Products:

· GMG dotProof contract halftone proofing using the same screen parameters as your press
· GMG flexoProof additional proofing features specific for the flexo and packaging market
· GMG colorServer centralized color management system for color conversions
· GMG proofControl proof verification
· GMG inkOptimizer SF GMG’s unique separation optimization for sheetfed presses
· GMG printControl press calibration/control
· GMG rapidCheck press verification
GMG colorSupport contract customers receive the following benefits:
· GMG colorSupport Hotline*:
GMG colorSupport can be reached via telephone Monday through Friday 9am-5pm EST by calling GMG Americas at 781-740-4077 xt 1. A GMG technician typically answers your call right away. If all our support personnel are on the phone, we strive to return your call in less than one hour.
· GMG colorSupport Online*:
A unique login to our interactive website (www.gmgsupport.com) is provided where you may open, track and respond to support requests, browse our FAQs, as well as download software and/or documentation. Online requests are typically responded to within one hour by a GMG colorSupport team member.
· WebEx:
WebEx support is provided, if needed, to remotely view, diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve issues directly on your GMG color management system. This allows you to view how we resolve your issue, helping you educate your team.
· GMG colorProfile Discount:
You’ll receive a 20% discount on custom profiles created and fine tuned by our color experts.
· GMG Academy Discount:
You’ll receive 20% discount on training courses offered through the GMG Academy. Our courses are provided by the GMG Americas team and are regularly offered via WebEx or at the GMG Academy in Hingham, MA.
GMG colorSupport contracts are available when your color management system is both installed and your staff is trained by a certified GMG consultant. One year and discounted three year plans are available. Please contact your GMG reseller for pricing.
If you choose not to purchase a GMG colorSupport contract, you may call the GMG colorSupport Hotline on a per incident basis. When support requests are received on a per incident basis for $250.00, they are answered as soon as possible; however, GMG colorSupport contract customer’s inquiries are always responded to first.
* Requests via the GMG colorSupport Hotline and Online received outside normal business hours are responded to the next business morning.
